My CD RW is ejecting automatcially on startup and when I attempt to burn

This has occurred only after I reformatted XP Home and re -downloaded the SP1 Package. Is thetre a hot fix for this??? The CD-RW will not recognise that there is blank disk loaded

Can anyone help!!
