CD-RW question

MY writeable CD drive does not recognize the CD-RW's I just bought from
Office Depot but it recognizes the CD-R's I had to burn some Music. I wanted
to use the CD-RW's to save some pictures. What am I doing wrong? Help!!!
 
So long as thier new cds,you should'nt have that problem..Try openning
device mgr,expand the tree to the cdrw hardware,R.click,select uninstall,
close out (do not restart pc if prompted),shutdown,power off.Move the cdrw
to another IDE connection,set the jumper pins accordingly,power up,start pc.
XP will reinstall on start up.Also,some cdroms/rws/dvd/dvdrw hardware like
liteonit,have firmware updates from the mfg web site.....
 
check your drive can use the typy of media you are trying to use.

i've also found that some drives just wont work with certian brands of disks
