I have an hp computer with windows xp on it, I have been
burning/copying cds for over two years with this computer
with no trouble at all. I don't know what I did exactly,
but now when I go to burn a cd through windows media
player it converts the songs etc, but when its time to
burn them, an error message comes up saying 0xC00D11AB:
Cannot copy files to recordable disc. I don't know what to
do. I've tried to slow down the speed, I go the options
menu and click on the devices tab, but all it says is a CD
drive..nothing about a CD/RW drive...what in the world did
I do to this thing??? I've tried a new blank cd brand, and
then I tried the blank cds I used a couple months ago and
nothing works! Please help me!

there is no recording tab. I double click dvd/cd-rw, and
it brings up a window that says the dvd/cd-rw properties
and then there is not recording tab, there is just a tab
that says audio. I was able to burn cds about a week ago..
I have tried three different brands of cds...is my
computer beyond hope? I dont want to buy another computer!
