I have folders in my "files to be written to CD" folder
and when I try to delete them a message box pops-up that
says
"cannot delete folder. it is being used by another person
or program. close any programs using it and try again"
Please tell me how to delete them!

MATTHEW, I had the nightmarish experience of doing a
Destructive Restore because of this. I was about 900 MB
and didn't see until my D drive locked. This very folder
is where I had to send back unit because several
Recoveries did not take to rectify. I don't have the
answer. Only that you are stareing a big problem in the
face. My unit was still under warranty so they picked up
the cost.

Is there a CD in the drive? If yes, remove it and then try deleting those
files. Leave the folder. Just delete its contents.
