Hi,
Every two minutes or so on my screen pops up the
message that asks me to please insert my Windows XP home
edition cd-rom, The full details of the error are
a "Windows File Protection" pop up window and it says
that some of Windows files have been replaced by
unrecognized versions and in order to maintain stability
Windows must restore the original versions of these
files. Please insert your CD rom that came with your XP
home edition and that there are unregistered file types
that need to be corrected. When I insert the CD, the
problem doesn't occur. Without the CD rom, I click on
the cancel to keep the file types, the problem goes away
for two minutes and then the pop up returns with the same
message. I have re-installed Windows XP twice and the
problem continues. Can anything be done
about this?
