CD-rom doesnt work!

My CD-rom doesnt work anymore, it would not read the CD. I have try evrything, and at the end i put in a old CD-rom, thinking that this was a hardware problem. The new CD-rom has work out fin until now, and the same problem came up. Is there anyone who can help me with this? Iv even reset the programs and reinstall driverfiles, but it doesnt help.

Go to

http://www.dougknox.com/

Select 'Windows Utilies' and scroll down to 'Restore CD/DVD drives to
Windows Explorer.'
