CD-ROM and CDRW Failure

Within a 24 hour period experienced CDROM failure and intermitant problems
with the CDRW not being recognized or not reading discs. Any ideas on the
problem?

Power supply faulty?

Mother board failure?

Ram slots/sticks insecure/dirty contacts?

Sloppy/insecure internal wiring?
