Hello

If this is the wrong ng I aplogise.

For CD rewriting is UDF format better or worse than MRW format? In the past
I've always used UDF as that was what my drive supported, I've now installed
a new drive, as my old one died on me, and this drive formats disks to MRW.

TIA

MRW is effectively a development of UDF, which *ought* to give better
reliability (in particular by not rewriting directories constantly in
the same physical place; and speeding things up by largely formatting
the disk on the fly as it is used. The downside is that to read the
result in a drive other than a MRW burner (also called 'EasyWrite' by
some makers) you will need to install a reader program, such as
EasyWrite reader from www.nero.com

Thank you, as I don't use my CD-Rw disks on any othe computer I'll format
using MRW; however I will download the reader from Nero "just in case".
