My computer dosent refresh the CD I put in. As in, I put
in "program 1" and the little icon for it loads into the
devise lists for "my computer"...but if I take it out, and
put in "program 2" it dosent change. If I try refreshing
it with f5 it still dont. What can I do to fix this?

The article doesn't help. Doesn't matter how many times I hit refresh,
nothing happens at all. And even after SP1, nothing was fixed. It's a drag!

Suggestions:

Open My Computer, right click on the CD Rom in question,
Properties/Hardware/Properties/Volumes/Populate.

Other than that, this problem can occur if you are using Folder view in
Windows Explorer. The view may not be automatically refreshed in Folder view
in Windows Explorer.

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:

Manually refresh Windows Explorer by pressing F5 or by clicking Refresh on
the View menu in Windows Explorer. And/or Do not use Folder view in Windows
Explorer.
