My games tell me to re-insert original CD but already in. Have to wait for cracks on the net to play my original games
This has to be a windows fault cause it isn't only one game its all of them

Have every update available on my PC and have searched www.microsoft.com but have not found anything
Anyone got ideas for me

Thank
Jonathan

Did the drive letter to your CD drive change since you installed the
game? If so, you'll have to see if the game has an .ini, .cfg, or other
file or registry entry where it saved the drive letter of the CD drive
from where it got installed. Some software is too stupid to scan the
removable drives to find their CD.

No already Administrator, and have not changed CD drives so not that either.
Never had this problem back home with my old PC

Using a AMD 64-FX, could there be some conflicts with windows and the AMD 64-FX?

I doubt your game was developed to run on a 64-bit platform. I'm
assuming you didn't waste the money to get a 64-bit hardware platform
and then run an old 32-bit OS on it. What version of Windows do you
have? The following might help:
