cd problemes

hi , my name is Alex. I have a toshiba computer, and i have a combo on it.
the problem is that when i try to record something on a cd-rw it is not working, but on a regular cd is ok!!!
it is any one who know what is the problem. My cd driver is a roxio, and it came whit my computer.

Alex,

Were you ever able to write to CD-RWs?
There used to be drives that could only do CD-Rs, this is why I ask.

What application are you using to try and burn?
 
Alex, if you are not going to take a refresher course in English, could you
at least use a spell check program?

yes i was able to write on cd-rw in the past. i am using nero 6 or easy cd creator from roxio. The thing is that i just bougth 20 cd-rw, verbatin, and i tried to back up some files and i can not. i tried on cd-r and it is ok. what would be the problem? my burner to be out, in that case why i am able to burn on regular cd. My driver is a CD-CD-RW-DVD-ROM. Thank you. i will wait your answer. Alex

I don't know what you didn't understand?????
The thing is that i have some problemes, it is not stabile, that's why i have 3 messages the same, 2, if i have some grama errors sorry, but i don't know where i was mistaking???
I hope that you can answer to my problemes, ignoring if i am not writing so well every time. Thank you.
