CD Problem

Sometimes when I place a CD which I know has data or media stuff on it in the
disc drive I cannot start and get an error message asking me to place a cd in
the drive when on is already there! Can anyone help please

If this happens only sometimes with the same cd and/or many different
types of cd's, then your drive is probably failing. Test by swapping
the drive out for a known-working one. Or see:
