CD player

I need your help. When I try to play a CD or CD-ROM in my PC. there is a slowly beep inside my PC and it cannot read it. Then my computer show a message with a blue screen saying windows has to sutdown and restart. I don't know what to do!!!!
 
some cd now days have a protection code so you won't copy
it, don't buy any more of those.
