My cd-opener wont stay shut. keeps opening after i close it therefore i cant get any cd's to run on the computer.... it only shuts when the computer shuts down.. help?

No, its just my original disc opener thing(XP)... yano, to put a cd in and take it out. it used to work fine but now it never shuts.

Here's the fix
Right-click on the CD-Drive,=>select Properties=>Autoplay tab. Enjoy!

That isnt it. It dosnt stay shut. you close it and 2 seconds later it opens again.

Trying disconnecting/reconnecting the cables to the drive. Update the firmware/drivers. Use Windows Troubleshooter. Restart the computer. In the unlikely event that none of these works, you may have to consider buying a new drive.
