There may be more to your problem that sticking a paper clip in it.

Hi kyllian,

You tell us your problem but you have left out everything you have tried
so far. Have you tried pressing the eject button on the drive? Have
you tried the emergency eject pin hole in the from of the drive? (I
recommend not trying this method unless your computer is shutdown and
the power cord unplugged if you are not familiar with it.) Is there a
disc stuck in the drive? Please reply with a bit more background, then
we can most likely help you better. Thanks.
 
Thank you for the response. I tried the paperclip in the little whole and I
was able to open it up. There is a blank CD in there, but I can't see
anything else. I tried to put another CD in and it was making a noise like
it was trying to read it, but it wouldn't do anything.

Sounds like a dead drive. Time to buy a new one.
