CD database?

I realize this is not the best place to ask this question, but we need a way
to catalog our CD collection (it is very eclectic, ranging from heavy
classical to pop). Anyone know of an Access app we could use to get started
on the project? So far I've see VisiTrax by Synapsa.

Thanks.

Gary,

Check out microsoft.com. Search for templates. You'll find lots of examples for
MS Office apps.

This is for a music database:

It should get you started.

Hmm...
I can't download some of these templates because they
can't find Access 2000 on my machine. I have 2002 installed.
They direct me to a free version of 2000 that turns out to be
the 2003 products. I have that too but it's installed on my test
machine! Any idea how I get round this?
Thanks,
Roy

I have Access 2000 (Office 2K Pro) and I am using Netscape 6.2.3. as my
browser. When I try to download an Access 2003 template, the Microsoft site
complains "Your Web browser does not support ActiveX controls", then wants me
to download IE (not happening!!).

Lower in the page it says "To download this template manually without solving
this problem" and a button to "Download Now"

It sounds like MS is checking your installed Office version. Try turning off
the ActiveX support in IE or load Netscape temporarily.

Or maybe have someone else download the templates for you and email them to you.

Steve,
Doh.. Many thanks for pointing this out...

I actually deserved a flame for missing that...

Hmm - Red face..
Roy
