CD .cab issues

Hello,

Let's say we have computer A and computer B. Computer A works the way I want it to, browses everything like a champ. When i put this CD in Computer B (I used the same exact CD in Computer A, and both computers are exactly the same down to the speed of the system fans lol) I have a problem. Basically I want to be able to browse .cab files on a CD, using just the built-in Windows XP Pro compression utility.

Computer A has no problems doing this, but for some reason computer B can't do it. Any ideas?

open the startbar and openthe run command.
type regedit
ok on the left click + for hkey_local_machine
then + for sotware
+ for microsoft
+ for windows nt
+ currentversion
now click on winlogon
now to the right
right click allocatecdroms modify change the value to 0
and the same for the floppy
does anyone think this would do the trick....
