CD burner

Hi all..... This is the problem i am having.. when i go into my burner software (nero, or easy cd creater) and set-up a disk for burning, everything is fine ,but when i go to burn disk it tells me that the burner is being used by other software and wont allow me to burn. i am very puzzled by this and hav looked and tryed everythin short of "reformat" hardware says the drive is operating corectly . any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Right-click the CD drive, click PROPERTIES|RECORD tab. UNcheck the ENABLE
RECORDING box, and see if this has a positive effect on the problem.
 
Your problem could be having 2 burning software programs
loaded. I had the same problem and totally removed cd
creator. That seemed to solve the problem
