CD burner

My cd burner will allow me to burn music but won't let me save jpeg and other
files.Any idea why and how I correct this issue?

What program are you using to burn the CD's? XP's built-in one or a
third-party program? Do you get any error messages and if so, what are
they?

To burn music I have used both Real player and Windows media. When I try to
use Windows media player it can't find access to the CD burner but Real
player can.
I was able to save files and pictures to CD's before but everytime I try to
do it now a message comes up saying "D drive is not accessible"
