CD Burner burning DVDs.....

Does anyone know if there such a thing? Can you burn a dvd using a regular
cd burner? If so what program can do that?

Do you mean as in ripping a DVD to Divx/Xvid format and then burning to CD?

NO! But a DVD burner can burn CDs.

I think Nero burns DVD to CD as a mini-DVD but don't know if it will
play in a standard DVD player.

You have to sprinkle magic fairy dust on the DVD, then insert it and run
Nero. Works perfectly...
