cd and usb drives not opening automatic

Dear Sir. I am Lennox Conliffe. Please tell me how do I get the CD & USB
drives to open automatically, Reinstall was done.
 
Hello Lennox, easiest control of AutoPlay is to use Tweak-UI, a
Powertoy for Windows XP. Open Tweak-UI, Expand My Computer
in the left pane view then the expanded view click Autoplay. In the
sub-category drives tic/check the drive letters you wish to Autoplay.
Next expand the "Types" sub-heading and make sure both of the
option boxes are selected.

Once enabled you can customize the media action for each type of
disk AutoPlay handles. (Photos, Music....) from the Properties,
AutoPlay (TAB) for the device in Windows Explorer.
