I get a dialogue box after I start in XP that says:
ccRegVfy.exe - Unable to locate component
"X This application has failed to start because
ccTrust.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application
may fix this problem." Which application? Is this why
Norton anti-virus doesn't run properly?
 
yes this would be why Norton AntiVirus does not work
right, both of these are part of Norton AntiVirus, u need
to reinstall it.
 
I've uninstalled and reinstalled NAV 2003 at least ten
times so far with the same problems in NAV but without
the error message on startup as long as NAV is installed.
 
well if u keep having the problem u might want to contact
norton about it. the only other thing u can do is to make
sure that u have ALL parts of norton antivirus removed.
to do that goto add/remove programs and remove LiveUpdate,
LiveReg, and Norton AntiVirus. Then Goto
Start>>Run>>Type "regedit" search through the registry and
delete every string with Norton
AntiVirus/LiveReg/LiveUpdate in it.

screw your computer up, call Norton first!
