ccCommon file missing, error 1706

Hi...

I`ve been doing some work on Norton problems as instructed by Norton Help
center, and during that, i `ve made some mess, cause now, every time I turn
on my PC or try to open some Office file, it runs Windows Installer for
installing some ccCommon file and it can`t be found, so it displays an error
message 1706.

How to fix this problem?

Sounds like a Nortons file.

Download the Symantec Nortons un-installer and wipe Nortons off of your
computer.

And don't reinstall it !!!

begin with uninstalling
norton, at least temporarily,
initiate a check disk and reboot
then re try your project again.

if you still incur an error
at least the factor of norton
is excluded and a different
perspective can be taken
about the issues you are
having.
 
Thanks guys, i`ve uninstalled it and that completely solved my problem with
this file. During that, I`ve spotted a new problem for which I put another
thread. Thanks once again.
