Outlook 2003 running with Norton Antivirus 2004. During
mail download I get the error message that the Common
Client User Application must close.

Can't find info anywhere on what is happening. The error
is reported to Microsoft every time it happens, which is
every time I pick up mail (or try to).

What do I do?

Thanks. I'm in the middle of a "conversation" with them
about it.

They want me to run a virus check (I did) for a worm in
NTdll.dll (which if it exists doesn't show up in the
virus check) and run Microsoft patch Q815021 (which won't
run because it says it is an invalid patch).

Patti,

Q815021 may be deemed an invalid patch if you have KB826939 installed.

815021 MS03-007: Unchecked Buffer in Windows Component May Cause Web Server
Compromise *is* included in KB826939.

If you have KB826939 you do *not* need KB815021. Norton should know this.

By the way, Microsoft dropped the Q and has replaced it with KB.
