catagory - date periods

How about a response from a microsoft type - you seem to answer quite a few of these - I've posted this one three times -

How do I make the catagories view calculate for only a certain date period

How do I print the catagories view for only a certain date period?
 
You can set a filter for a view using the View | (Arrange By -- in Outlook
2003) | Current View | Customize Current View | Filter dialog.
