Need a little info. I have a case that has LED lights in the front, and two
fans that are connected directly to my PSU. Is there a way that when i put my
comp on standby that it will cut power to them, or do i have to shut my comp
down?

Believe the Power On LED should blink intermittently while in standby. The
cpu can't control the fans if connected to the one of the power supply
mains.
The ability of a PC to attain proper standby depends on the OS and the APCI
capabilities of the bios. If you have fans connected directly to the power
supply vice the motherboard, you probably will have problems attaining
proper standby indications as the bios is outdated as is the hardware.

this case doesnt have the Power On or HD LED's. It has Blue LED that light up
the case....but i just looked into the case and found that my cpu fan was
still on and it is connected to the motherboard. and about the the case fans
not going off.. well i have a second computer that has a fan on a video card
that IS connected to one of the main psu cables and does turn off when in
standby.. so that confuses me. and all of my BIOS on everything are
update(thats something i always do).
Here are some specs if they help:

AMD 2.2GHz Athlon 3500+(Venice)
Asus A8V-MX Motherboard
DiabloTek ATi 9600xt Video card
2 G-Skills 1 Gb pc3200 DDR ram
