David said:In downloading some binaries, when it came to removing them from the *first*
(?) download site, I think that I accidentlly outside the icon, with the
result it made a copy. Not only of the binaary but Music, Video and
pictures. This did not happen once, but (without my realising it) *many*
timed. The result is I have , believe me 396 copies of music, 396 copies of
and 396 copies of video. When you have stopped laughing, beause to me this
is a serious matter, I cannot remove these icons. I am hoping I am mistaken
and maybe a reader can help me out of my problem.
Many, many thanks in advance, David.
Are they just icons or full files?
Have you tried to delete them from Safe Mode or the Administrator
account?
If these don't work then a live CD such as Knoppix
(http://www.knoppix.org/) or Ultimate Boot CD for Windows
(http://www.ubcd4win.com/) may do the trick.
