Card reader

I have a card reader that works ok. But now I only want to read some of the
thinks that is on the card
f.inst. æ0000110277000000012400000004230450000_
this is what i get on a standard reading.
I only need 0423 how do i do that ?
I need to do it in access

can anybody help me please

I don't understand your question. Maybe it's just me but if not see this

Suggest asking this question in an Access newsgroup, perhaps Macros.
