Capital I's are a pain, how do I get rid of them

I'm sorry if this has been adressed before, as I'm sure it has, but I
can't seem to find a way to disable Outlook 2003's eagerness to help me
out by capitalizing the i's. A couple of users have this problem, and
I've experimented with using Word as the mail editor and not, I've also
checked autocorrect options and settings in Word (2003), but can't seem
to find it.

I'm pretty damn sure I've seen this option somewhere and I seem to
recall changing it on my own computer, but I'll be darned if I can
remember where. At my home computer I's are capitalized in the subject
field, but not in the mail itself, I take it this has something to do
with the plain text option. There's a multitude of options, and I'm a
bit lost.

If anyone's wondering: I want to get rid of capital i's as "i" is a
common word in my native language, meaning "in" or "inside of".

As a sidenote I'd also like to be able to customize which folder deleted
items are placed in by default. It's an IMAP account. The behaviour here
is that items are deleted immedieately after selecting "Purge messages"
(which is a pain by the way), but other users report mail showing up in
various folders. I've been unable to locate such an option as well.

Help is appreciated

Do you have a Norwegian version of Word? I ask because I don't and so don't
know if the menus would be the same. For the English version it's
Tools>AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoCorrect tab there is a list box at
the bottom that contains the i=I substitution, which can be deleted.

Have you looked in Outlook's autocorrect options as well? FOr the English
version it's Tools>Options>Spelling>AutoCorrect. There is a list box there
as well with the i=I substitution.

Fortunately all users on this network have English versions, so that's
not an issue. That's how I seemed to recall changing it, but I haven't
found it. The entries in the Autocorrect list are Norwegian words and do
not include the i=I substitution. I could try setting the language to
English and removing it, but that should probably be unecessary.

I've been all over these options. There's a screenshot at:

There is no entry, as you can see. The same list appears in Word 2003.
I've settled with disabling "Replace text as you type" so far.

Thanks.

I have no other ideas, then.
