Cant't reinstall 6.0 because it says I have a newer version, when I do not.

I am trying to reinstall explorer 6.0. I deleted the
existing 6.0. The error message says it won't d/l beacuse
a newer version is noted.

I don't have a newer version and I deleted the existing
6.0 version.

Go to the Knowledge Base for Ie 6 and ask for
Click to expand...
uninstalling ie6. It will tell you how to go into the
registry and change two items then you can reinstall IE6.
