Can't wake from standby

I do not have a USB mouse or USB keyboard, but sometimes
(not every time), I can't wake the XP system from standby
mode with either the keyboard or the mouse. I must turn
the computer off and back on.

I have seen articles addressing this problem with USB
ports, but can't find anything else.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
 
hey i think they put a program on microsoft to fix that.
I think i remember downloading that.
