Almost all web browsers maintain a local copy of web pages and other related
items on your disk or memory, to speed up re-loading of previously visited
pages from the Internet. This time-saver may get larger and slower over long
periods of time.

If this is causing problems, try clearing your browser cache as follows:

Internet Explorer 5 and 6 users:

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on ‘Tools’ from the menu bar, then
‘Internet Options’.

2. Make sure the ‘General’ tab at the top is selected and click on ‘Delete
Files’. Another window will appear. Tick the box next to ‘Delete all offline
content’ and press ‘Ok’. This will delete your Temporary Internet Files.

3. Now click ‘Settings’ which is next to the ‘Delete Files’ button.

4. Under the heading ‘Check for newer versions of stored pages’ please make
sure that ‘Every visit to the page’ is selected. Press ‘Ok’ to confirm the
changes.

5. Close down all of your Internet Explorer windows, re-open, and try again.

AOL 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 users:

1. To delete your cache in AOL please Open your AOL.

For AOL 9 Users

Go to 'Settings' on task bar
In the 'Essentials' tab click on 'Internet [Web] Options'. Please go to Step
2.

For Older Version of AOL

If you are using AOL 8, click on ‘Settings’ on the AOL toolbar and then
‘Preferences’. If you are using an older version, please click on the ‘My
AOL’ menu or ‘Customise’ menu on the AOL toolbar and then ‘Preferences’. A
new window will appear. Click on ‘Internet Properties’ (www link or icon if
you are using an older version).

2. Under the Temporary Internet Files section, click on ‘Delete Files’.
Another window will appear. Tick the box next to ‘Delete all offline content’
and press ‘Ok’. This will delete your Temporary Internet Files.

3. Click on ‘Settings’ which is to the right of the ‘Delete Files’ button.

4. Under the heading ‘Check for newer versions of stored pages’ please make
sure that ‘Every visit to the page’ is selected and press ‘Ok’ to confirm the
changes.

5. Close down your AOL, re-open, re-connect, and try again.

Netscape 4, 6 or 7 users:

1. Open up Netscape and click on the ‘Edit’ menu at the top and select
‘Preferences’.

2. Double-click on the ‘Advanced’ category. You should now see the option
‘Cache’ below. Please click on this option.

3. Click on the ‘Clear memory cache’ and the ‘Clear disk cache’ buttons to
clear them.

4. Below the heading ‘Document in cache is compared to document on Network’,
Make sure that ‘Every time I view a page’ is selected. Press ‘Ok’ to confirm
these settings.

Hi,

I would start with the steps here:

HOW TO: Troubleshoot Situations Where You Cannot Complete MSN Sign-up or
Connect to SSL Secured (128-Bit) Web Sites by Using Internet Explorer in
Windows XP

I've also found that sometimes this occurs when the scripting engine needs
to be reinstalled. You can download it here:
