Before when I right click on the web pages and select the
view sourse, I was able to see the HTML script of that
page on the notepad. I also use to do this by clicking
view and the source and it worked. But recently, when try
to see the source of the web pages on IE 6, it shows blank
on the notepad as untitled. Is this the problem with
notepad or IE 6 browser? Any solution to fix this?

My problem is I have front page set as my default HTML editor in IE, but
notepad keeps opening. How can I fix this?

Thanks

Bill

Sam,
There may be several reasons .........

1) If a shortcut exists on the Desktop for Notepad, rename it.
2) Some users have reported Quick View Plus to be the culprit?
[or]
Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab | Delete Files button
Also select the option: "Delete all offline files"
Then click the "Clear History" button, while you're at it ......
Reset the TIF cache size to 50 mb. Click Apply\Ok

In IE, View Source is hard coded to use Notepad. If you want to edit with Front Page, click the Edit button on your IE toolbar.

Thanks Mike.
Renaming Notepad fixed it for me.
