I am trying to unstall a graphical program written in VB6? and it won't
install because it says (the installer) that some of my files are out of
date, and I would have to reboot my computer to complete the
installation. Well I did that but I still got the same error message.
I then went serching for updated dll's as per the 'setup.lst' versions,
and for some reason it seems I can't overwrite the original
\system32\dll name. Oh I did bak them up first. I forcibly drag the
newer dll across to \system32 then tell it overwrite the original, but
the version nubers remain the same.
What next please?
Thanks
