OK, this is going to be a little off of the beaten path.
My daughter has a Dell laptop with Win 2K. It has Norton Pro on it
because the machine was supplied by the college, with a student fee
assesed each year, then upon graduation she got to keep it.
Well, she can't uninstall the Norton so that she can install a current,
single user version of Norton. She has administrator privileges, but
Norton is the one thing she can't seem to do anything about. Somehow, it
seems the college has put it on in some way that requires more to get
rid of it.
She really needs to get some AV protection, but this expired version of
Norton has to go.
Any ideas how to go about this?

If you can remember the 60's....you weren't really there
