Can't turn ON reading pane

What version of Outlook and what happens when you try?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Kathol asked:

Maybe it is squashed. Move the to the edges of where the reading pane
should be to see if there is a divider bar that you can drag to enlarge
the pane.
