Hi there,

Whenever i press tab+alt to switch between task, i see a program window
called: "Copyrighted AC Soft 2002-2004 (www.acsoft...." If i select it
nothing happens. I tried to shut this AC SOfT from task manager, but there
is no application with this name. Also, I tried to uninstall it from
add/remove software, but there is nothing that i can find.

Also, I believe this background software is interferring with my windows
shut down process because when ever i click restart or shutdown button
nothing happens. I have to click on switch users and then on shutdown link
to tun off my computer.

I would appreciate your help and time. Thanks

See if you have instaled any of this company's products:

Advanced Computer Software: ACCPAC Products:
http://www.acsoft.com/pages/products.htm

If not, download Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com to inspect each running processes. Once you find the details about a running process, terminate it. Next, disable the process from running at Windows startup.

Dear Ramesh,

Thank you for you help and time. I downloaded the Process Explorer, but
could find anything that say AC TOOLS. May be I am looking at the wrong

I would appreciate if you can guide me little with process explorer.

Thank you and Have a good day
