Can't shutdown

Hi,

After reading how to tackle the Sasser virus on the
mircosoft website, it said that you needed to enter the
following command into command prompt 'shutdown.exe -a'

This is supposed to stop the virus from shutting down
your compter. But now that i've got rid of the virus i
can't shut down my computer at all!

Can you please help?
