If I am not mistaken, you have incorrect smtp. There should not be a
"hyphen" between "t" and "email.co.uk " You can have" t_email.co.uk ", but
not " t-email.co.uk "
t-4-2

i dont think so as this smtp address works for my mobile
but not on windows mail
what else could it be ? it seems to happen to quite a lot of people, i saw a
few threads about the same problem

You need to use the SMTP server name of the internet connection, that you
are connected to, possibly lstrecruit.com, or your ISP.

When using your mobile, you are connecting via the t-mobile SMTP server.

ok, how do I do that though ?
i went onto the internet options / programmes / but i'm wary to change
anything as i might do something wrong
can you help ? thanks

You are looking in the wrong program, internet options is in Internet
Explorer.

You need to go to the tools menu in Windows Mail.

Tools>accounts>account properties>server tab.

Who is providing your internet access?

I am also having trouble sending messages out. I can receive messages but
any I send go to outlook. Can you help..
