smithmusic.com appears to be a music company, not an email provider. Some
internet providers block access to port 25 for any email servers other than
their own, to cause trouble for spammers, and they don't always tell you
about
changes in this. Is their email server reachable through any port other
than
port 25, which usually gets around such a blockage?
If not, you may have to switch to using the outgoing email server of your
internet provider, even if you keep using the same incoming server and the
same return address. Ask them for their instructions for setting up to use
their email servers, which should include such things as the server name.
If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet, their
instructions
for Outlook Express should also work under Windows Mail as long as
they don't call for using the HTTP protocol. The instructions should be
somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your internet
provider is and see if anyone here already knows where to find the
instructions.
