Each time when I select a picture and then click on the E-mail icon XP
automatically jumps to Hotmail to send the E-mail instead of Outlook Express,
although everywhere I look in the setup Outlook Express is set as default
e-mail program.

Making Internet Explorer the default web browser

If you install another browser after IE, you may find that it is no
longer your default browser. To put it back again, run IE and go to
the Tools, Internet Options box and look at the Programs tab. Check
the very last box, "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it
is the default". Press Ok, and when you next run IE, a confirmation
dialog box should appear asking you whether you want it to be the
default browser again. Click Yes.

Making Outlook Express the default e-mail client

In IE, if Outlook Express isn't currently configured to be your
default e-mail program when you click on an e-mail address link etc.
Open OE, go to the Tools menu and select Options | General tab. At
the bottom of the dialog box, press the Make Default button and press
OK.

Start | Run | Type: inetcpl.cpl | OK |
Programs tab | Click the V next to E-mail: |
Select Outlook Express instead of Hotmail |
Apply | OK

Thanks for your reply.
I've checked all the things you mentionned, but everything was set as you
said i.e Outlook Express as default. The box saying Check if IE is set as
default browser is also ticked and yet when I try to send an e-mail directly
from 'my pictures' it always asks for the net.pasport password, but when I
enter it, it says done but all I get is a blank screen.
Do you have any other suggestions ?

It really bugs me because it used to work perfectly and for some reason now
it is a problem.
