Can't send mail

I can receive but cannot send mail. I get an error:; The connection to the
server has failed. Subject 'Fw: FW:', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server:
'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

The computer I bought my son is the same and he can send mail. HELP!!

So why did you enable SSL for port 25 in the e-mail account defined in
Outlook?

Secure(SSL): Yes

Where did you see in Comcast's instructions to enable SSL when using
port 25?

Comcast only requires SSL on port 465.

Also, Comcast will block outbound port 25 when subscriber accounts cross
some undisclosed threshold of traffic volume. From a command prompt type,
'telnet smtp.comcast.net 25', and check the result. If you get a failed
connection, reconfigure your client to use port 587 without SSL.
