Hi. I hope someone can help me. I can't send large emails - 1 MB and over.
The sent emails are stuck in the outbox but in fact, some people receive
multiple copies of the message. I have checked all my ISP settings and I have
no viruses. The server is also set to a long timeout now and the problem
still exists. Help!!

Many ISPs attempt to block large messages. Check with them.

Do you have anti-virus software configured to scan outgoing mail? If so,
turn that off (if you have Norton you may need to uninstall it, then
reinstall it without email scanning options). The symptoms you're having
seem to be related to anti-virus programs. Could you post back with your
results, whatever they are? I'm trying to get a feel for whether this is
really the cause of the problem you're having.

I have had the same problem. It is due to your ISP limiting the size of
outbound mail. I was able to resolve the problem by following the
instructions at this link:

GOOD LUCK!

No, it does not have to do with ISP limitations - such limitations would
cause a non-delivery receipt to be generated, rather than sending the
message multiple times (read the post over - people actually get the
message, sometimes many times).

Has there been any resolution to this problem? I'm still struggling with
it. My work requires me to send photo files around the globe and this bug is
really bugging me!
Cheers
Joey
