Michael

I get an error that sayes, "The server can't send because
server rejected the sender's email address". It gives me
the server error 530 & error number 0x800CCC78. I have
outlook express version 6. & am working on Windows XP
version 5.1. My pc is HP. I've tried contacting HP's
technical support & they are not helping me. I have
already tested with my IP and the trouble is with
Outlook. It also will not do spell check. Never has
since I got it. Can someone help me?

For sending email, I think you need to contact your email account provider,
namely the network administrator or Internet service provider, because it is
an error due to your email server instead of outlook or pc.

As to the spelling check, you may have a look at the options in "Tools |
Spelling" and see whether they are correctly set.

Thanks for your quick response.

I've already spent several hours on the phone with my IP
provider & we were able to verify that it is not them. I
have also checked the setting in tools and there are no
problems there.

Less dumping Outlook Express & reloading it, do you have
any other sugestions?

Hi Michael,
Unfortunately the error message you stated means that the email account
is not set up right, make sure the username is the full email address and
the outgoing server requires authentication is checked. The error message
means the outgoing server of your ISP cannot recognize you. Try a new
identity in outlook express with hotmail or some orther pop3 account, this
will prove that it is not outlook express
