Hello.
Please help! I have tried to setup a second account in windows mail, gmail
works just fine, but everytime I try to send a mail through the second one
(SMTP) sends back this error even when I allowed the port throu firewall, I
use LiveOneCare as firewall:

The connection to the server has failed.

Subject 'test'
Server: 'mail.ntmk.com.mx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 10060

Are you sure this mail server requires the SSL option?
SSL is very uncommon for SMTP servers using port 25.

Does the connection to mail.ntmk.com.mx go through some other
internet provider's equipment before it gets to ntmk.com.mx? If so,
such connections to port 25 are often blocked to cause trouble
for spammers. You can ask ntmk.com.mx if their outgoing
email server listens to any other port for outgoing mail, and if so,
where to find their instructions for using the other port.

Port 25 and SSL are seldom used together. You may try turning
off SSL for this port.

Windows Mail often behaves erratically when interfered with by
some antivirus programs. Windows Mail is not compatible with
most McAfee and Norton security programs. Those will need to
be uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see
