Recently signed up for SBC Yahoo DSL. I am able to receive emails but I can't
send any. The message sits in my Outbox. I don't receive any error message. I
checked and rechecked my incoming and outgoing server settings...no problems
there. Also called up SBC techie but he was of no help.

Will truly appreciate your help. Thank you for your time and attention.

Are you properly authenticating to the outgoing server? SBC Yahoo! requires
that.

Same answer for you. Open your account properties pages and check the
Outgoing Server tab. Check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires
authentication" box.

I have checked/rechecked my ougoing email server settings as well as properly
authenticating the outgoing server. However, the problem still persists. The
outgoing mail sits in my outbox and I don't get any error messages.
