cant send email from window mail

i'm not able to send emails from window this is da message it gives me...
what can i do bout it...thank u...

The error message is self-explanatory. You entered an incorrect server
name. 'smtp' is not a proper name for a server. It should be something
like smtp.rr.com. Contact your ISP for the proper server names and
associated settings.
