Hey everyone,

Currently I am able to receive all my email from POP server, however when I
send a message, it is taken from outbox and moved into sent items, but never
gets to where it is going.

My mail server does require authentication, and the settings are all
correct. They do not restrict connecting to third party mail server, as
long as it is authenticated.

I receive no error message, they just act like they went out but go nowhere.

Have tried removing the email account and resetting it up, but to no avail.

My laptop that accesses the same account, but through a different network,
is able to send using the same settings through outlook express.

Have tried resetting my router, and even turning the router and dsl modem
off for a bit.

Running out of ideas, anyone run into this?

I have outlook 2000 on that computer, can upgrade to 2002 if you think it is
worth it.

No need to upgrade to Outlook 2002 or 2003 for this, because I don't think
it has anything to do with Outlook. I think that what is happening is that
something is happening to the mail *after* Outlook has successfully sent
it. Getting logs will allow me to determine if Outlook actually did send
the message successfully. To get logs for Outlook 2000, see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q240347. Could you
post the smtplog.txt file after you send something that never arrives?
