Can't send, but Outlook test's OK ?

Hi All,

I have a client who has just switched from a dial up account to an ADSL
account.

Mail is working fine, except when an incoming message is replied to, or a
new message is created it immediately comes back with an error about the
recipient ( sorry can't remember exact error).

The ISP has web mail and that works fine with the same user and password, so
we know that is not an issue. And the test in Outlook 'account' settings
passes all the tests, so it's all a bit odd.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Strange, yes, but still need the error to help you...
I'd suggest you check the POP / SMTP settings, for
example is the email account he / she using the same as
the ISP? If not then you have to have the pop details for
the account, and then the smtp for the ISP for it to
work...
