Can't select Sysyem Restore Utility

System restore is running but I can't access it by any
option I take. After selecting system restore, a dialog
box immediately returns saying "Run a DLL as an App has
encountered a problelm" and needs to close......Depending
upon how I select system restore(I. E. via My Computer,
Start Memu, MSCONGIG, Safe Mode, etc) , the failing App
is either reported to be rstrui.exe or rundll32.exe. The
ModName is always reported as srrstr.dll.

Can this problem be fixed or the System Restore Utility
just be reinstalled by itself? Thank You.
 
I have the same system restore problem & same error messages as Robert. I followed Rich Barry's advice but could find no help there. Does anyone have any further suggestions? Thanks!
